Inspiring Educators to Transform Lives!
Welcome! I am Dr. Austin Chamberlain, creator of the “You Are Good At This!” blog. I never thought I would be a person to start a blog. I’m not even a very good writer, but I am good at celebrating people, so here we are! I love hearing educator’s stories about how they are changing the world, and normally these ideas are not earth-shattering but do take the courage to be different!
I have worked in just about every setting imaginable. I have worked in 5th and 6th grade classrooms, I have been the k-6 gym teacher at a title school, a private high school Dean of Students, and I am currently an elementary school Principal in southern Indiana. I also have my Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership where I focused on increasing teacher morale. One of my greatest findings was that to increase teacher morale, you must increase teacher appreciation!
